My personal report on Mileages after MPG-CAPS Conditioning Dose

Most of the time, I use my car for city driving only since my office building are not very far from my home (approx 7 kilometer away).

I’ve been told to use 1 1/2 pills for the first time, FFI call it as a Conditioning dose. As adviced by my colleague (See my earlier article on my blog), I change my usual fuel from Pertamax /Shell Super to Premium, and record the current mileage reading.

After 6 days of usage, my tank almost empty and re-fueled on the same Gas station. I need 48 liters to filled it up full tank and use another 1 pill.

I conclude that after MGP-CAPS usage, I found some fact below,

1. Fuel Cost Saving 40% (IDR10600 –> IDR 6000)
2. (But) Shorter travel distance: 16% less ( average 390km full tank with Pertamax/Shell to 324km full tank with Premium+pills)
3. (But) Faster Re-fueling frequency: 14% faster (average 7 days to 6 days)
4. Engine torque feel similar with previous fuel type

My mileage usually 6.5 kilometer per liter and now become 5.4 kilometer per liter. Facts that I know are the driving condition never be the same from day to day, but my experience is the average I could achieve 6.5 kpl consistently. I have to study further during another 3 weeks to see whether I will continue to use MPG-CAPS or not.

If you interested to study further how to save your fuels usage, study what others say about certain product performance, you may also take a look to these interesting websites at your own risks :-)

Update 25 July 08:

I forward this case to my upline, he told me that it is common during conditioning dose, the mileage decrease, since I use lower grade fuel but after 3-4 time filled up the mileage will recover and even better…

Let see another 3-4 week from now, I will update the result then…

Update 1 August 08:

One of my colleague, the FFI Distributor in my Country share his experience on the Emmision test result that was done somewhere on his area by local goverment agency on some cars that passing by on the road.

According to him, the agency staff was very surprising as the emission gas for HC 18 ppm out of 200ppm required and CO 0.00% out of 1.5% required.

There is no further explanation on what agency name, equipment used and the measurement method used.

He only attached the measurement paper as shown below,

Update 5 August 08:

I see KPL (kilo per litre) recovery after 3x fill up. But of course I can not simulate similar the road situation or traffic condition on every road I’ve traveled on each fill up. It just based on my own feeling that there is some improvement on the mileage toward the previous one (when I used Pertamax or Shell Super).

1st fill up – 1 1/2 pills
2nd fill up – 1 pill
3rd fill up – 1 pill
4th fill up – 1/2 pill (I’m run out my pill…)

I will submit detail data later on after I got the 4th fill up result.

Here is my result,

After 1st filled up – kpl average 5.35
2nd filled up – kpl average 5.65
3rd filled up – kpl average 6.25
4rd filled up – kpl average dropped to 5.18 (maybe because i don’t use 1 pill ?)

since I don’t use this pills more,

5th filled up, I change it to Pertamax fuel type again and the kpl result is recover from 5.18 to 5.74.
6th filled up – kpl average steady at 5.74

I hope after other filled up the KPL will improve and recover to the prevoius 6.5.

Will see….
